For me this represents many things in life.
There are things that make me feel like I need healing in my life. That without some sort of healing, either mentally or physically, I am being held back from the full potential of who I am and what I can do.
It is like some how, a wing was torn off taking away my freedom of flight. While I can survive without both wings, it is frustrating not being able to fly anymore. The only way I can fly again is to wait for the healing process to finish.
