One note I would like to add is that the money goes to support everyone in the magazine not just me. I did it that way with the first one (though it was sadly not alot) and I will do this for this issue. In fact if we can get a great turn out I am going to take it back to all the artists in the first issue as well.

The cost is $5 for the download. That is really just a trip to McDonald's for one person one time. Sure that isn't alot, and it will take alot to make a good contribution to all the artists involved.

Why am I doing this? In this day and age it is hard enough to make money at anything especially if you are an artist. And think about it, next time if could be you in the magazine. This is going to support alot of freelance artists out there that do not belong to a company getting company cheese for making a living. So, if you like the idea of individual artists being able to make something at what they do then this is a way to show your support.

I have received alot of support behind this whole thing and I owe it to everyone involved to do all I can to make this a success. Therefore, I am not backing down.

The only way to get this thing going is with your support. That doesn't exactly mean that you have to make a purchase. Just help getting the word out is a huge help.

Think about it, $5 gets you a cool independent magazine, plus your money goes to support everyone involved and you get a shot at a Wacom Bamboo tablet. And, who knows, maybe next time it will be your work being featured in the magazine.
